A secret spot.

When I go for my long walk this is a favourite spot to stop, partly because it's hidden from the road and I can answer the call of nature! Luckily none of you will know where this is.

It's also a lovely peaceful place to stop and cool off on the hot sunny days, and the perfect place to sit mindfully for a while.

Our mindfulness session is this morning on Zoom. Please let me know if you'd like to join the next 6 week block of sessions.

One of the happiest things I've worked on during lockdown has been our carers cookbook, and I'm super excited to say that it has arrived from the printers, and available to order.

To order a copy at £7.50 including P&P, please email our Admin. Assistant, Zivile, giving her your name & phone number. Zivile will then phone you back to take a payment, and post the book out to you - info@northargyllcarers.org.uk

All profits from sales of the book will go to North Argyll Carers Centre to help us continue supporting carers in Argyll & the Isles.

There's something for everyone in the cookbook - lots of tasty treats to try. Enjoy!

I have really enjoyed working with the group of 5 talented artists who volunteered to produce the beautiful illustrations for our book, and am looking forward to the day when we can all meet up in person.

Thanks Fiona Blakey, E. Coultham, Steph Summers, Rachel Brooks, & Karen Stedman.

Back to thinking of mindfulness, we can use our practice to shop more thoughtfully -

I'm also loving all the blogs that I'm finding on websites. Now I'm definitely hooked on blogging.
