April showers.

A bit of rain yesterday didn't dampen our spirits when we met up at Dunollie for our Intergenerational Snap & Chat Group. Our group meets twice a month and we will be joined again by some of our talented young carers during the Summer holidays. There's always time for plenty of chat over a cuppa - hot chocolate with marshmallows is definitely the favourite!

It's great to be out with the cameras together again.

Lots of photography happening just now. Last week I visited Lismore for the first of 'Our Caring Island Lives' project, sponsored by the Calmac Community Fund, after I had a quick stop in Oban to pose with the big red sign for Calmac.

Watch out for photos from the islands throughout the year. Our island support staff will be talking to their carers about the project and I look forward to meeting more of you over the coming months.

April is another busy month for our groups and we're delighted that our 'Still Caring' bereavement group for carers is moving to the Dove Centre this month. This will be our meeting place for the 2nd Monday every month now. It's a lovely quiet space, with time for us to chat in confidence and support one another. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this group or anything else on the calendar.
