More good weather yesterday meant an even longer walk for me and the dog, with plenty of chats with neighbours as we wandered back towards home. I hope you managed to get out walking at the weekend too. High winds at the start of the weekend made me think it was the end of our good weather, but luckily I was wrong!
The baby bluetits have fledged. I missed them!
This week is 'Carers Week' which we would normally celebrate with lots of events at our Carers Centre in Oban, most involving cake! This year is a bit different of course, so while you'll have to bake your own cake, you could win a prize for it.

The winners will be chosen next week by voting on our Facebook Page. Everyone can vote, but only carers should enter the competition.
Theme - ‘Express how you as a carer feel during lockdown.’
Categories are:
1. Writing (Poem or short story)
2. Arts & Crafts (Send a photo of your piece)
3. Special category – best cake baked during Carers Week (Send a photo)

Remember there are 3 categories for both our Young Carers and our Adult Carers, with a prize for each winner.
And there's no limit to how many categories you can enter, so you could write a poem or story, make something creative (Knitting, crochet, painting, drawing, sculpture etc) and bake a spectacular cake!!
Exciting!
I'm just a bit disappointed that I won't get to taste test those cakes though.
