I absolutely love seeing the geese taking their families out for an early morning swim, and watching how fast the babies are growing.
My doorstep bluetit family are constantly in and out their house just now with food for their growing family, and I've got my fingers crossed that I'll see the fledglings as they venture out for the first time soon. If I stand at the back door I can hear their constant chatter from inside the bird box.
Hopefully a few of you will have been able to get a bit closer to friends and family over the weekend with the restrictions being lifted slightly? Meeting up with my children is still going to be a long way away sadly. Better to be safe though.
I can't believe it's the first day of June! And the sun's still shining. Amazing.
