Foraging?

Well, not exactly! I decided to harvest some of the triffids from my garden, and had a look for recipes using nasturtiums.

The jury's out on the nasturtium pesto. It looks good, but smells strange. I'll have to give it a try though.

I also found a recipe for stuffed nasturtium leaves which looks good. Husband's not so convinced though!

The other day I found what looks like Chanterelles. Brought one home to identify, and I'm about 95% sure it is one, but I'm still not brave enough to cook it. I've always wanted to go on one of those foraging walks where you identify mushrooms.

My friend Mayra at The University of Dundee has been involved in creating a publication on 'Older Persons' Rights: Lessons from the Covid-19 pandemic'. Did you know that there is a department called the Scottish Centre for Comics Studies at the University of Dundee? I think that's brilliant! Have a look at the link.
