Yesterday I was very happy to escape from the computer, and excited to be going out with my camera to capture some of the glorious colours of Autumn.
Sadly the rain came on shortly after we left home, and got heavier and heavier which made it difficult to take photos. But I was determined to capture the moment, and I think this image sums it up perfectly. I love the raindrops hanging like little diamonds on the birch branches as I tried to shelter under the almost bare branches for just long enough to take the shot.
Maybe I'll manage back to this secret garden again to revel in the fabulous Autumn shades, but I suspect I will have to wait till next year to see it's glory again. Today's wind and rain will probably send the leaves flying.
