I'd seen photos of a field of sunflowers near Campbeltown, so off we went on a road trip at the weekend.
I was probably a week late for the sunflowers, but the field of poppies next to them still looked amazing.
What a wonderful idea from the farmer at Glencraigs Farm. Wouldn't it be brilliant if every farmer made a place for wildflowers!
It's definitely starting to feel Autumnal out there, and I'm starting to look at seed catalogues to plan my garden for next year. My goodness, this year is disappearing so fast. Probably just as well! Hopefully next year will be full of better things for the world.
