The Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

Oh what fun we all had on Saturday!

All of us at North Argyll Carers Centre thought it was time for a really good get together for carers of all ages.

It's been a tough couple of years for everyone.

So what better way to have fun than a great big tea party, with mad characters from Wonderland! And cakes!!! Lots and lots of cakes, and sandwiches, and sweeties, and sausage rolls.

Dunollie Castle grounds were just perfect for our event, and we transformed the café into our Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

It was absolutely wonderful to see so many carers of all ages exploring the lovely grounds at Dunollie as they searched for clues in the Scavenger Hunt. I think the wind may have moved a few of the clues and made it a bit more difficult!

Abbie did a fantastic job with her face painting skills, and we had a colouring in competition, and a best costume prize.

And what about the Flamingo Croquet? I felt a bit sorry for those wee fluffy hedgehogs as some of our guests with golfing skills gave them a whack.

The prizes for the best costumes went to Elke & Fee Shaw. Very well deserved. And we have to make a special mention of Betty Cookson's awesome hat!!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our special day, including all our staff for baking & sandwich making, Vikki at Dunollie Castle & Museum for making sure everything was good at the venue, our Young Carer Max Allen for providing on-site photography, and Green Shoots garden for allowing us to pick such lovely flowers for the tables.
